  1. Hi, I bought a DeWalt Random Orbital sander as in the pictures from the authorized agent here in Sri Lanka (Delmege Forsyth & Co. Ltd) on 15th September 2016. Model No is D26451. Then I contacted DeWalt about the product and they said that it was manufactured in 2011 and the product is obsolete and a new model is available now. The item I received has wearing marks on the outside indicating that it had been on the shelf for too long. Then I contacted the local agent whom I bought from and they said that even though it was 5 years old there would be no problems since it wasn't used. They said that it is as good as new. Actually I bought this item with a discount. But they have not really mentioned it was old when i bought it. I would really appreciate if you people can give me any advice on this. Is it OK to have this 5 years old tool, which was not used. Will it affect its life time?? please advice. Thanks in advance!
