I am thinking of buying a drill online, but got confused between the brushless and brush drill, can you suggest which one is better and why, and which one is more reliable for long life. I don't want to buy anything crap and waste my money.
Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I would just like some insight from people who have or know about drills. I'm looking into something for basic around the house maintenance. I'm not gonna be doing anything major just simple things like driving. I'm looking into something like the Festool CXS and maybe a Metabo but I'd like to hear what people that actually have these tools think of them. All suggestions are welcomed and I hope to talk to you all soon (if there is a certain thread I should look at or if this was talked about already, the redirection is welcomed)
Hello my friends, I have been pondering this topic for a while now... and that is: Angle drills/screw drivers. I was working with a scroll saw and needed to bolt it down to stop movement. Simple task, right? Wrong. The screw holes were located underneath the cut table and the arm shaft, so I couldn't fit my drill in there to nor drill the pilot hole, or screw in the bolt. So,I thought: Why the hell don't I own an angle driver? Well: 1. I like to buy tools in combo packs, none of which include an angle driver 2. Not too many mainstream companies make them (if you do find one, let me know) 3. They are pricey, along with attachments and new, oddly shaped bits, they add up quite a bit 4. Most are not very versatile, you cant reach all desired angles with certain models So with these points, I ask that if you find a decent angle drill/driver, please refer me too it Thanks!, Kyle
Are Ryobi lithium ion drills any good? My first drill was the 18v nicad (about 5 years ago) and it was decent considering the price point. Just curious if the new lithium ion versions have improved over the years of if they still are light duty machines. thanks!
