I've thought about it more than once because we see quite a few hurricanes in Florida. Every time I think of having just a few hours to pack your car up with your most prized possessions it makes me sick, I know they're just possessions but possessions can carry a lot of meaning.

awesome thanks for all the kind words, yes this is just crazy, block after block of houses just gone......what a terrible thing to go through.....

That sucks. We had fires that size the last couple years but they weren't in populated areas like that. Good to hear your family is safe. All my relatives in Alberta are way farther south of the fire. Too early in the year for burning on that scale.
