Stercorarius
Estwing is releasing a line of pnuematic nailers. Anybody know who is manufacturing them for estwing?
Fazzman
News to me as well. No idea who the OEM for those will be.
Stercorarius
Still not as cool as the aluminum dead blow framing hammer.
Fazzman
Yeah that new one is cool but I cant justify the hammer cost for myself. I have numerous deadblow hammers already. I wonder if this is to try and regain some market share against all of the new cordless nailers that have been coming out. Ive always liked Estwing stuff. I used to have a Estwing steel handle hand axe a long time ago. That thing was the bomb for camping.

Stercorarius
Toolguyd just did their article. Interesting read. http://toolguyd.com/new-for-2016-estwing-air-nailers-and-compressor-products/ But wtf is this crap: "It has features that you’d expect on a framing nailer, such as a non marring tip" In my experience you want a tip that is as aggressive as possible for toenailing no?
John Glassey
You're right, some brands give you the option to remove the no mar tip cover to reveal an serrated tip. That's what you would use in a typical framing job.

Yes, with the no mar tip on it makes toenailing harder. Jimbo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
