Shuutr
Saw the display at lowes. Looks like a different take on an OMT. Or just an OMT on its side. The 7amp sounds impressive, I just don't know if it's worth the $180. https://www.dremel.com/en-us/Tools/Pages/ToolDetail.aspx?pid=VC60-01#.V1L6DfQ8LCQ Dremel Velocity[emoji769]Kit The Dremel Velocity VC60 is the power tool that bridges the gap between traditional oscillating tools and rough-cutting tools, such as reciprocating saws and circular saws. BMack37
We were talking about it in another thread. I think we all basically thought it was an interesting concept but we really didn't like how thick the head is compared to a standard OMT. It's a really new tool, only a few months old so I doubt anyone here has one yet...I don't imagine them selling a lot of those at that price. Shuutr
From what I can tell, more power and the orientation of the blade is on the side instead of the bottom.
tomdog22
5 degrees of oscillation, compared to 3 degrees on most standard oscillating. I have tried it, and it cuts like a beast.
