Thommo11
Hi there had my milwaukee impact driver for around a year and a half and would be lost without it. It is the m18 BID model. Evreything goes fine except today my worklight on it stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it. Thanks
jeffmcmillan
Not much can go wrong with the LED itself so chances are a connection came loose. At a year and a half you can ship it off to milwaukee for free repair, but it would also be pretty easy to take a look and reconnect whatever it is. Thanks Well that's a kick in the pants, I hear of different things like that with the led, but no trouble personally. The warranty is always reliable here, so I'm sure it can get fixed pretty quickly. You go on Milwaukee eservice website and fill out a claim or do you have a service center that can take care of it for you? BMack37
Not in regards to Milwaukee or tools but I see LEDs go bad often, I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more in power tools. Send it in for repair because it's under warranty.
Daniel Julian
I would send it in. Not sure what happens if you open it up, might void warranty. I recently sent in a M18 hackzall and had it back in 10 days. Milwaukee warranty is top notch!
