SevenOddosFence Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Does anyone know where I could get a handle for my M18 grinder ?
Stercorarius Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 They are all standard grinder handles. They probably sell them at HD. I bet you could get one from just about any tool owner. I think all of my handles (except for my hammerdrill) have ended up getting tossed. 1
jeffmcmillan Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 I recall the standard being an M8 thread so you can get any grinder handle or even that size bolt. A bent piece of conduit can bolt on as a ghetto loop handle for surface grinding. 1
sparky603 Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 See it listed here for $7.92, plus whatever they get for shipping. It's Milwaukee 42-62-0125. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/milwaukee-278120-m18-fuel-angle-grinder-with-slide-switch-and-lockon-parts-c-131_4779_417854.html 1

JerryNY Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 What I want is one of those tool-less wheel nuts they have on the new braking grinders. 1

Haven't used a wrench in years. If something's really stuck on there just tap the blade lock while it's spinning down and it'll put way more torque to loosen the blade than you can do with a wrench. Sometimes it goes flying. Safety note: This is not safe for you or the grinder. 1
Stercorarius Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 Yeah gloved hand instead of a spanner has always been my go to.
