pancing
1062 inch lbs on the site but might be 1300 inch lbs with a 5.5 6.2 battery since they do use 20700 cells which might hold a higher c rating. Its still made in germany!

D W
Very nice! Great to hear it's German made. Great stuff. Keep the photos coming. We really should start a Metabo tool porn thread like the Milwaukee section.

If you're talking about the drill I posted they abandoned the motion sensor LED lights, I have the impuls version and while it was nice, it would turn on from a bump.

Thing i love about the Ridgid cordless tools is the little bumper trigger on the handles that depresses when you grab the handle to turn the LEDs on, nice feature, sad the LEDs on the drill are junk and barely light the work surface

I actually like the circular LED on the Gen5x, not enough to sink into that line though. TBH my dv18dsdl has a pretty bright light and its wide too but dewalt's LED on their drills have got it spot on.

Yea thats the one, I actually won the big gen5x kit here at Christmas time, overall the drill is nice, on the brushless model they pulled the LEDs off the chuck and put them on the handle

Ididn't know they abandoned the motion sensor lights. I actually like that. Not like the leds would kill the battery.

If you can find me this drill anywhere let me know, company I do weekends for wants to know they'll buy the whole stock.
D W
I only just realised that this drill is a completely different drill to the one I've been considering (which is highly discounted here atm). I was looking at the BS 18 LTX BL (which is 90nm and has the red button at the top to quickly switch from clutch to drill). The BS 18 LTX BL I is not even available here yet. Nice, I'll keep waiting now that I know that's on the horizon. It seems they are discounting the models that must have a new brushless version coming out soon (which is pretty much everything including the circular saw). Bad that I just got a recip saw and the 200 wrench, but good that I haven't got anything else yet.

Yeah i pulled the trigger on this via ebay as the seller used his own pictures (I reverse imaged searched each picture) he had the product specs of the SB LTX BL IMPULSE but i asked if I was getting the product pictured and only bought one to see if it was legit. he had three and they sold out 15hours after he put the listing up. I cannot find this drill anywhere, I've searched UK, aus, germany, grainger, looked at special order booklets, I was thinking about asking the seller how he came about the drill but I fear he'll hike the price up if he knows how hard the damn thing is to get.
