eddie1976
I just bought this one http://www.homedepot.com/p/NuMax-Pneumatic-18-Gauge-Brad-Nailer-SBR50/202101761 But it doesn't have the no mar tip, depth control at the gun, etc. What do you guys think of it? Seems to have good reviews and for $26 I figured what do I have to lose? I also considered this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AK4CY7S/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=17O7WAJIEC4JS&coliid=IY29ARA1RP6AM and this one https://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-NT50AE2-18-Gauge-8-Inch-2-Inch/dp/B000H399PC/ref=sr_1_3?s=power-hand-tools&ie=UTF8&qid=1473983606&sr=1-3&keywords=hitachi+nail+gun
rrich1
Of those I would get the hitachi. Haven't tried the numax. I have a Masterforce and it has been great for me so far with quite a lot of features. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
eddie1976
I just used it today and worked great. But the Hitachi has a plastic magazine that has been known to cause alot of jams. I'm happy with my purchase and for $26 can't go wrong. eddie1976
I have put about 200 nails through it and no issues so far. And if it fails......I will put it in recycling can.
wildroamer
Wow, can't believe how cheap that was! Good deal, call it disposable. You could blow through quite a few of those before you paid for my Hitachi!
WigWagWorkshop
I have said in other threads, don't look past the Harbor Freight nailers. They are surprisingly good, I bought the 23 gauge pin nailer, because DeWalt does not make one, and I was actually blown away at how well it performed.
eddie1976
I think for the most part, pnumatic nailers are simple tools. I don't mind buying cheap. But, you start talking impact drivers, drills, saws, then I pay up. I'm glad I paid up for my dewalt drill/driver combo. I just braced my deck the other day and drove 1/4" x 4" lag bolts (about 20 of them) and the driver impressed me immensely. I charged the battery a few months ago, used it to drive these bolts, and it is still at 3 bars! Love this thing.
