phffter
need a little assistance. i have a dewalt 880 die grinder. shaft is threaded 3/8x24. looking around the internets, seems it was designed only for 1/2'' thick grinding wheels. i've adapted the shaft with spacers to accept wire wheels. i'd really like to adapt the male shaft to accept a 1/4'' collet, for using 1/4'' burs. could really use it, instead of a dremel. cant seem to find a suitable item at mcmaster, ereplacement parts pics aren't too legible. can ya help a bruther out? collett threaded male or female? reducing type rod coupling to go between? WeldfabNeil
I don't know who makes adapters. i would look into Makitas 1/4 electric die grinder. I have one an it's great for small work.
