comp56
going to make 4 of these 2 for my jointer/planer and 1 each for my table saws..... starts off with some birch plywood strips I doubled up the plywood by gluing it together and cut out and sanded a handle... I then glued and screwed the handle to the first layer of base....counter sinking the screws I then added a second layer with screws and glue again.... the back end is where the magic is, I can have the push block straight up to push wood or when I come to an end of a board I made it so a stop with drop with gravity, this way there was no fussing with nuts and adjusting.... here it is all finished with a couple coats of rubbed wax and of course I had to come up with a name..... here is how it works....just put GbloX on the board and push away or when needed the back end drops from gravity for extra pushing ability.... I also put a non-slip bottom on it as well..... more handles in the making........
