khariV
I stopped in Sears the other day and spotted some Craftsman miter saw blades that looked interesting, so I snapped a pic to ask the crew. These blades say "Made in Germany." Are these actually Bosch blades in disguise? $60 isn't bad for a German made finish blade but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light as to who actually makes these and if anyone has experience with them, good or bad. jeffmcmillan
Doesn't look quite like any blade I've seen, but those look like some big chunks of carbide on it. I can't really see the slot pattern on the blade but that's usually the easiest way to match OEM blades.
BMack37
That's the good thing about Sears, sometimes whomever they find to OEM their Craftsman stuff is a REALLY good manufacturer and Sears tries to be competitive in pricing...then their sales normally make it even better. The problem is weeding through the Chinese junk to find the good stuff. I would say they are Bosch, the only other big brands they carry are SBD.
