DooDar Posted October 23, 2016 Report Share Posted October 23, 2016 Hi I bought the DCV582 about 18 months ago and for what I us it for I am happy with it. But now Dewalt are offering the DCV584L which as far as I can see has the air lock system on the end of the hose, a new adapter for the on board tools and the filter is now class L. The on board tools look to have not been changed just the adapter. And it seems to have the same 300w motor as the DCV582. Is this all they have changed? I can't see any other changes! So my question is: Can I just fit the class L filter from the DCV584L on to my DCV582 and then class it as a class L extractor??? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
