Moze
I normally wear jeans or whatever when working, but recently purchased a pair of Blaklader Bantam pants. I really like them. They're really comfortable, well made, etc. They're pricey ($70ish), but I think they were worth it. One of the reviewers on Amazon had mentioned that they were similar to Skillers. I had never heard of those, so I did a search and see they're no longer being made but still available from a few suppliers. Bought a pair and they're on their way. Curious to see how they'll compare. Anyone have experience with any of these or others?
Conductor562
In my line of work Carhartt and Dickies is about all you see. These look pretty nice for trade work though. $70 isn't bad if they hold up.
Moze
Guess I could have provided the link, sorry.Blaklader on AmazonSkillers on RepconBut ya, I agree. On construction sites it's usually Carhartt or Dickies or just some brand of blue jeans. These Blaklader's are by far the most comfortable and roomy pants I have. They're a pleasure to work in, have lots of storage/pockets and the built-in knee pads are greatness. I find myself running extra loads of laundry just so I can wear them again lol... Conductor562
They look pretty damn similar. Can't have too many pockets. I always liked BDU pants for that reason but they don't hold up incredibly well.
bosox
Wohh! Sometimes I wear shorts! haha
Conductor562
I'd love to be able to wear shorts to work, but OSHA and the FRA would have a stroke.
PutnamEco
Carhartts and Dickies for me as well, although I have some Wranglers pants called Riggs I get the linked ranger pants as I like the cargo pockets for work. They hold up really well being ripstop and all. I also apreciate the double knees. These pants are not very good for hot weather as they are rather heavy.
Conductor562
I've seen some of the Riggs stuff on occasion but I never gave them a shot.
SisusineZonge
It is a pity, that now I can not express - I am late for a meeting. I will return - I will necessarily express the opinion on this question.

FerTheHandyman
I only wear Dickies carpenter pants and they hold up pretty well. Shorts and sneakers at a job site are not a good idea. Nails go right through sneakers and shorts don't protect your legs from sharp objects.. Painting might be an exception.
