tough old drill

I have recently been doing some repair work on a house where the cellar got flooded.

I uncovered a Dewalt 14v drill that was soaked through and had been for years as this area had been untouched for some time.

I dried it out slowly and was amazed when both batteries took a charge and other than the chuck being solid and will not loosen, the drill works fine. :)

Certainly going to have a go at freeing it off and see how it goes like you say.

The drill is not mine I found it under a pile of other water damaged stuff down there, but there is also a Dewalt planer down there drying out as we speak and will see if this can be saved as well. :)
