Conductor562 Posted December 9, 2016 Report Posted December 9, 2016 For the most part, I think we all frequent a lot of the same tool peddling sites. Regardless, I'm always anxious to broaden my horizons. For shits and giggles, list 3 or 4 sellers you use that other members may also enjoy or not know about. Be different! The idea is not to list anything that's already been listed. 1. Eastwood While it isn't exactly an unknown, if you haven't taken the time to really look their offerings over, you really should. Whether you're into automotive, metal working, or you're just looking to expand your skills, Eastwood has a lot of exclusive and unique items. They also have a great YouTube channel with lots of how to's to peek your interest. 2. Tooltopia Tooltopia is a well known site, but it doesn't get a lot of mentions around here. The have a little bit of everything and for a good while they had the best selection of SK Tools on the internet. I've used them multiple times and have always been satisfied with my purchases. 3. Harry J. Epstein Epstein's is a different kind of tool seller. They operate a B&M store in Kansas City and do a lot of liquidation. Quantity and selection is usually limited, but it's hard to tell what you might run across. Sometimes you'll find NOS stuff years after it was discontinued. 4. Tools USA Lifts, Paintbooths, and lots of other auto shop equipment you didn't even know you needed, but you do. Whata you guys got? 2 Quote

JimboS1ice Posted December 9, 2016 Report Posted December 9, 2016 Good topic! I know it's not totally off the beaten path but farm and fleet carries a wide range of tools and usually has great deals around the holiday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
comp56 Posted December 9, 2016 Report Posted December 9, 2016 Well being in Canada chances are most of you have not dealt with some of theses places however they have been great for me in the past. The Added bonus of the money exchange may help with some of the deals as well. These places also ship to USA in no particular order: Busybeetools Elitetools Ihlcanada Quote

Eastwood is not a place I consider for general tool purchases. They do, however, have a good selection of unique stuff. Their welder/plasma combos are a great buy, they have great start up kits for things like powder coating and buffing/polishing, lots of shop chemicals for things like rust management, etc. Some of their stuff is Harbor Freight at a 15% premium, but they have some gems too and their customer service is top notch. here's the buffing setup I bought from Eastwood last year. It had everything I needed to get started, and a buffing for dummies type booklet that even I could understand. Pretty nice outfit if you're into restoration type stuff. http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-1hp-buff-motor-buffing-kit-and-stand.html 1 Quote

BMack37 Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 Eastwood has some pretty great LED lights. This is well thought out: http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-professional-folding-led-light.html They used to have great deals on eBay but they seemed to have stopped listing. 1 Quote
Stercorarius Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 My favorite Eastwood item that I would like to try someday is their attachment to use a mig as a stud welder. It is on sale as the deal of the day semi regularly. 2 Quote

It's not only a lot cheaper than a stud welder but it also has a significantly smaller footprint on the work surface so you can get them nice and tight on curved panels. 1 Quote
