Conductor562
How about a thread for old tool pics and ad's? Found this online the other day. No date, but I'm guessing late 1960's. Emerson Electric didn't come into the picture until 1966, so it was after that. Pretty sweet Airstream. They were showing off their tools in style.

JMG
@Conductor562 I think my dad had one of those B&D drills. It wasn't so shiny when he was through with it though... That Airstream is pretty cool and those suits those guys are wearing look to be straight out of the sixties.
BMack37
Airstream is cool but the GM Parade of Progress futurliners take the cake.

I love all vehicles, tools, machines that are art deco...just a different time. Trying to get back on topic.
Bremon
That 1950s B&D in comparison to a current $200 drill makes me wonder what the landscape of the market will look like in 60 years from now (or even 40 so I have a better shot of being alive to see it lol). And yes, airstreams are very cool. I started looking into acquiring a used one at one point but even used they are too rich for my blood. Conductor562
Love those old Wilton's. That vise that's stamped Ward's Master is actually a Wilton shop king. I have one and while it wasn't the highest quality vise Wilton ever made, it was one of the best looking. Those buses Remington me of the best looking locomotives ever built.
BMack37
That is a beauty! Here's another automotive beauty(notice the fins at the back!). I wish I could find pictures of the race crew's tools:

I like the post idea but honestly I don't really noticed pinned topics, just new posts in topics. I also don't have much to contribute.
