tugnut1 Posted February 8, 2017 Report Share Posted February 8, 2017 I wanted to share some pictures of a chess board that I made a few years ago. I made the main parts of the board out of Bubinga (my favorite wood) and Maple. Around the edges I through in a Purple heart accent. I added some feet to keep the board very stable. I'm sorry that I don't have a ton of build pictures for this. I think they are on my other computer or backed up on an external hard drive. The best part of this build, I have taught both of my kids how to play chess on it and they like trying to beat the old man.
