Conductor562 Posted March 5, 2017 Report Posted March 5, 2017 It's race season again. Nationals don't kick off until next month, but we hit a regional in Elizabeth City, NC this weekend to get her some throttle time and brought home a win. Hetrick did a phenomenal job on the motor. Nobody's gonna touch her off the line this season. While there were a couple of other National Riders in her class, but a race like this is small potatoes for a National Champ. My real reason for posting was to share the article the Charleston Gazette did on her. It's the WV's largest newspaper and seeing herself this morning you'd have thought it was the New York Times. http://www.wvgazettemail.com/news-putnam-county/20170304/young-putnam-county-atv-racing-champion-refuses-to-lose 1 Quote
BMack37 Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 Good for her! I'm glad she gets to see that she's appreciated beyond her supportive family. She seems like a good kid, the good grades shows that she doesn't just have a drive to win in motorsports. Quote
Conductor562 Posted March 6, 2017 Author Report Posted March 6, 2017 Thanks Bmack! She's a pretty special kid. Starting to get the teenager attitude already though ? 2 Quote
