rrmccabe Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 I just started watching him a week ago. Pure comedy ! Whatever makes it chooch ! Should add that its not work of kids safe. None of his videos are. 1
CATERPILLAR Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 Lol I was pretty dam surprised of the quality . Don't forget to keep your dick in a vise ???
BMack37 Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 What's funny is that my first thought was his biggest gripe as well, they didn't epoxy the windings.
rrmccabe Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 Looked like a decent build to me except for the ring gear material and as he mentioned the solid copper wiring going to the switch. Cant say I have seen any solid wiring inside a power tool.
tpamatmat Posted March 6, 2017 Author Report Posted March 6, 2017 Yeah, the guy does not have a filter when he talks, just tells it like he sees it. Overall though I was impressed with DeWalt's build quality. In their defense the Fein teardown didn't have any epoxy on their winding either. Though they were attached better and less susceptible to vibration. 1
rrmccabe Posted March 6, 2017 Report Posted March 6, 2017 Not sure which is my favorite. His festool track saw tear down or the womans vibrator !

Biggie Posted March 7, 2017 Report Posted March 7, 2017 He must have a pretty good following. I saw it when it had been up for 3 hours and it already had 400 some comment.
Bremon Posted March 7, 2017 Report Posted March 7, 2017 His vernacular must be unique to whatever backwoods town he's from...the backwoods town I'm from doesn't even have as many oddball nonsensical "words" thrown around as adjectives, and that's saying something. Watching half this video so far and I'm amazed that he hasn't called it a complete and utter piece of trash. He even seemed to not hate the Fuel model. Seems a little unusual lol.

Pretty impressive for a single owner and operated channel.

Yea when he gives overall praise you know it's legit. Thought his argument against flexvolt in favor of the 9.0 was a little odd since effectively he's comparing 2ah to 9ah, but I digress.

I wonder where he is from. Didn't hear any accent when he speaks french. New-Brunswick maybe. 1
Conductor562 Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 20 amp draw is pretty damn impressive 1
rrmccabe Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 Yea once you find a working receptacle to plug it in to.
Conductor562 Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 Wherever he lives, it's apparently somewhere where 4.5" grinding discs aren't all that common ?
Bremon Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 ...neverland? or maybe he lives down the street from King Friday if you take the trolley from Mr Roger's Neighborhood to the land of imagination.
BMack37 Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 I'm not too familiar with Quebec other than Montreal but from watching his videos...he's not too far from mining, maybe an industrial city, but he seems to be in a decent sized city...he also never mentions the Habs. Just outside of Quebec city maybe? Maybe on of the larger cities off the river.
tpamatmat Posted March 8, 2017 Author Report Posted March 8, 2017 Who else but AvE would do a teardown on their own YouTube award:) 1

No I think he lives in Northern BC now but he's not from there. In a video, he said "have you ever heard the sound of northern BC spiders?" (or something like that) and then proceed to burp. Haha :-) This is why we like this guy 1
Butternut82 Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 that was an awesome video. I may have to subscribe to that guy.
