It requires a propane tank, which means it must be used outside. For the heat it puts out I don't really see it being useful. I would recommend to just get a heated jacket. They can be used inside and outside.

Ummm. Nope?

It is most certainly usable indoors. There is a difference between indoor/outdoor and outdoor only propane heaters.
This is rated for indoor/outdoor.

My friend has it ,,we used it last weekend..temp 15 with winds 30/40mph...we built a deck outside ,10hr..(2 batteries) we kept warm all day and even used it on low most of the day, high is hott.....worth every cent
