Framer joe Posted July 12, 2017 Report Posted July 12, 2017 Makita 10" cordless, brushless double bevel..mitre saw with Bluetooth,,auto vacuum when trigger is pulled....XSL06 ....sorry don't know how to get a screen pic.......Cmon Dewalt Quote
framer Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 i like how the rails are more compact. thats my one gripe with the dewalt 12" miter saws. the rails are long and makes the saw a bit big. 2 Quote
Cr8ondt Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Hell I'd just like to see a 10" like the rest of the world gets 1 Quote
Jronman Posted July 13, 2017 Report Posted July 13, 2017 Should they go bluetooth route like Makita or go vibration route like Metabo? Quote

Framer joe Posted July 13, 2017 Author Report Posted July 13, 2017 I like the dial for degrees up front and so compact....I don't about if it's powerful or if that rail set is sturdy but I like the set up on that Makita.........the eu Dewalt 10" a saw a vid on and it's very interesting... Quote
Mordekyle Posted July 19, 2017 Report Posted July 19, 2017 The 10 is appealing to me, because my 7 1/4" 20v won't cut through a 4x4 in one pass- you have to rotate the post twice, for a total of 3 cuts, kind of a pain.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
zinzander Posted July 19, 2017 Report Posted July 19, 2017 the small flexvolt saw is almost a waste of time in my opinion as it only bevels one way. I will never buy a saw that only bevels on way it is to much of a pain you end up cutting things upside down and all sorts Quote
Framer joe Posted July 20, 2017 Author Report Posted July 20, 2017 I like the 7 1/4 mitre from Dewalt it's a nice saw..ya I wish it was dbl bevel ,but still nice.....I am waiting for a 10" version only because my 7 1/4 cordless won't cut azek rails which I use every weekend...and the 12" cordless is big... builditguy Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 The 12" is big and heavy. Played with it at the store. 7 1/4" is nice and light, but sacrifice some cut. Seems like a 10 would fit the bill nicely. Then maybe bump the table saw up to a 10? Either way, I'll be getting the table saw. Quote
Bremon Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 Table saw supposedly is getting bumped to a 10" 120v max hybrid solution. I'd be shocked if we don't see it revealed next month. Supposedly based on the DWE7491RS. 3 Quote

Bremon Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 If the improvement for this saw off of the 7491 is the same refinement that the DHS790 has over the 780 it's hard to imagine anyone being disappointed ?? Quote

Changes I see are grey metal, brushless motor, and option for battery or cord. Would be cool to see an innovative and useful new feature on this saw but I'm not sure what haha. Quote
FrosBros82 Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 @Jronman Option for battery or cord I agree with, which is why I like their miter saw so much. Quote

Framer joe Posted July 24, 2017 Author Report Posted July 24, 2017 I can't wait. Wish I had a ticket. Wish I knew who gives the tickets out, cause there are many people who shouldn't be there and others who should be Quote
