Marcv76 Posted July 28, 2017 Report Posted July 28, 2017 Does anyone know if Dewalt is planning a more powerful vacuum? I like there current little ones but I am hoping for a vacuum that can get closer to plug in power with the flex volt batteries. Quote
Marcv76 Posted July 28, 2017 Author Report Posted July 28, 2017 I've seen that vacuum in European market but it's the same specs as their current dcv581. They just slapped Flexvolt on it so people know that those new batteries will work in it. Where is there true upgraded vacuum to take advantage of the new batteries and 60v power? Quote
Jronman Posted July 28, 2017 Report Posted July 28, 2017 haven't heard if the new rumored vacs are cordless or corded but I think DeWALT may be exploring tool activated features that work between vacs and cordless tools possibly using bluetooth. Possibly vacs with better filtration. I heard enough to be mdf compliant if that becomes a thing. Quote
Framer joe Posted July 28, 2017 Report Posted July 28, 2017 A powerful flex vacuum would be great.. Quote
Framer joe Posted July 29, 2017 Report Posted July 29, 2017 Ya I hear ya...it's gonna need power Quote
The.Handyman Posted July 29, 2017 Report Posted July 29, 2017 Fingers crossed for a FlexVolt vacuum hands on next month. Quote

If DeWALT goes 120v flex they can just use the already existing corded power supply to make it corded for those who like corded. Quote
Eric - TIA Posted July 29, 2017 Report Posted July 29, 2017 Would be great to have a powerful vacuum. Hopefully, we find out next month at the Dewalt event. 2 Quote
FrosBros82 Posted July 30, 2017 Report Posted July 30, 2017 I would think they will get coming out with something for sure. With all of this silica stuff, I am sure they are going to have all sorts of dust extraction stuff, so in theory a cordless vac would also be with that too... in my opinion. 2 Quote
