FrosBros82 Posted August 7, 2017 Report Posted August 7, 2017 This would be a solid addition. Ryobi, Makita, Milwaukee have one, so I know it's only a matter of time!!
FlaveNico Posted August 7, 2017 Report Posted August 7, 2017 i just saw makita came out with 2 fans and i believe both under 100.00. both battery operated as well. SOON lol

RickyMcGrath Posted August 7, 2017 Author Report Posted August 7, 2017 Anyone know if it is going to be 20v or 60v?
Framer joe Posted August 7, 2017 Report Posted August 7, 2017 It's a 20v product....use 20v batts or 60v or ac.. 1
Hugh Jass Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 Interested in the stats of this compared to the latest offerings from the other boys.
JakeDewalt Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 What is that tape measure he is wearing? Never seen it?
Framer joe Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 That tape is a Stanley,pos.........ya love to see if this beats the rigid fan on specs 1
Mattias Blomqvist Posted August 12, 2017 Report Posted August 12, 2017 A videoclip from tool barn : https://www.instagram.com/p/BXqMIWal1p1/ Skickat från min LG-H815 via Tapatalk
Big Adam Posted August 12, 2017 Report Posted August 12, 2017 Running Red on AC and Yellow on DC is hardly a decent comparison!

Framer joe Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 The fan specs from jimbos list......500cfm that's more powerful than the Ridgid fan and almost twice the Milwaukee.....great job on that one Dewalt

midogrumpy Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 DCE511 job site Fan is now on Dewalt web site http://www.dewalt.com/en-us/products/gear-and-equipment/construction-heaters/11-in-cordedcordless-jobsite-fan/dce511b the pre order link is still missing, but ACME has the item for pre-order on their site 1
Rtorres092382 Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 At $99 for the bare tool I might consider buying 2. If they drop the price to $79 it wouldn't even be up for debate. Anyone know what Acme's time frame is when items are up for preorder? Should we expect it in stock within the week or longer?
midogrumpy Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 this impresses me a bit UP TO 7 HOURS RUNTIME AT MAXIMUM SPEED WITH 4.0 AH DEWALT 20V MAX* BATTERY
fm2176 Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 If it weren't for the fact I more or less needed them at the time, I'd almost regret buying two of the Ridgid. Let's be honest, though, one or two DeWalt fans will end up in my collection. Meanwhile, the Ridgid fans give me an excuse to buy another BOGO 4.0Ah battery deal, the sander, and maybe a couple of other things.
Framer joe Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 I went rigid too, had to..needed a trim router and sander,,,got the fan too....but Dewalts fans will be in my garage as soon as released. Even though it's headed for colder weather on the cape......7 hr on high with a 4ah 8 or more with a 5ah ...that is impressive.....
JakeDewalt Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 When will this release this is one tool that is a must buy.
midogrumpy Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 ==> @JakeDewalt I´ll be in West Palm area beginning of October for vacation If you need anything from the "Europe" collection of DeWalt products let me know I might be able to bring along cheers
