Ticore
I have a cordless impact that the Batteries stopped charging in. It is from snap-on so and out of warranty on the Batteries. It use eight Moli IBR-18650B batteries. Do any one know where I could get these or another model of the 18650 battery class that would work? DR99
Ebay has rebuild kits or just brand new after market packs that are not priced too bad. I'm sure Snap on wants a pretty penny for a replacement. Soldering new cells in is a huge pain the ass from what I have seen https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=snap+on+battery&_sacat=
BMack37
Are they not holding a charge or are they just not charging? You could jump start them and hope the cells aren't damaged. I think the Kobalt 24v batteries use Samsung 18650 batteries and they're cheap.
Ticore
The batteries won't take a charge, and Snap-On wants around $180 for a new 18v 3.6aH pack. Unfortanitley none of the DIY Kits are for my pack. I think I'm just going to switch to the 5.0aH cells from the 3.6aH which seems to be what all the rebuilders are doing.
