JakeDewalt
I would think if you were after mid range you would be using a 3/8.

Framer joe
I know !!!' Crazy !!! I'm all for smaller lighter and still "get er done" ....as long as it handles it no problem, I don't want to beat the tool up, though......

Not necessarily, I personally prefer a 1/2" even on a compact. I know different people have different preferences and applications. It's possible that a 3/8" anvil won't hold up to 330ft/lbs of torque but I'm no engineer so I don't really know.
JimboS1ice
I would think if you were after mid range you would be using a 3/8. Some of the higher torques can snap the thinner 3/8" this won't at around 350 but your better off with more meat on the anvil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ChrisK
Nah, not me bro. I will say that beast will rip lugs off no problem and it looks just like the Mac which they have been building along so this will be a real powerhouse for sure. I'm waiting to get this wrench, all wrenching shall wait....... https://youtu.be/V4UfAL9f74I

Biggie
A sparky youtube video from the dewalt event said it'll be out by the end of November. I too can't wait to try it out. I check daily for video reviews but there really isn't much out there yet.

Framer joe
Wow looks exactly like the Dewalt with a different battery and a boot over it......didn’t know it was that similar.....
Biggie
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe he has a dewalt high torque with Mac cover. But yea other than color they are very similar if not exactly the same.
Stercorarius
Yeah DeWalt battery and tool with Mac covers on both. Battery cover is like $5 and impact boot is like $13. That was from when I first got it. Pretty abused like 5 months later and holding up well. Waiting for battery covers for the 6.0. Mac batteries and impact are literally identical except for color and decals.
Stercorarius
Yes you can put DeWalt batteries on Mac tools and vice versa.
Biggie
Typical dewalt, acme just changed its status from arriving soon to pre order with estimated ship date December 30th.
Framer joe
Acme still says arriving soon when I pull it up ? My guy there says next week , I already bought it.....we’ll see, I hope so...
Stercorarius
They may have sold all the stock DeWalt alloted them for the initial order and have to wait to get another order kind of like with flex volt.
ChrisK
I am hoping that the $25 off Christmas special will apply for the gun assuming they have the sale. I’ll wait a few weeks but this is as good as mine. I’m going Tool only with the hog ring, I’ve got five batteries already.
