mdivad
My generator started leaking fuel from a small hole on top of the carburetor just behind the air filter. The hole is supposed to be there, however, I can't tell if a screw fell out? Even with the gen off it streams out of this hole as soon as I open the fuel valve. Any ideas? Conductor562
Hard to say without looking at it, but it sounds like the idle adjustment screw may have worked itself out. Is it running different than usual?
mdivad
after some research I believe a 'welsh plug' may have come out. The gen runs great. It's just spraying fuel everywhere. I assume these plugs can come loose?
Conductor562
I always understood a "welsh plug" to be a freeze plug, but I'm not familiar enough with the term to be sure.
