I hope it was worth his (I'll venture to guess it wasn't a female) time and money, and hope they don't go overboard and kick him out of the service. Despite the (admittedly hilarious) display of immaturity, it takes a lot of skill to do something like that. It sucks being "that guy" in threads like this, but I know the climate in today's military.
