Moze
This thing kicks butt. I don't care if it's a Milwaukee clone or not (I know the comments are coming...), it's an awesome light. This room is about 22' at the peak, measures 7'w x 19'l. It'll easily light up a whole wall or the whole roof area if pointed straight up. 8

Turner85
Any European release date for this? A lot of newer releases seem to be way behind or not even coming to Europe lately. Flexvolt compressor also hasn't seem to hit Europe.

Framer joe
Love mine , just awesome, especially with the higher lumens like the rocket.....hate that they copied it...but still glad to it...
khariV
I think that I'd like the updated Rocket better with the three independent lights that can be pointed up/ down as needed. I've got the original rocket and sometimes it's difficult to get a good downward angle. You have to point it sort of downwards and then every time I turn around to face it, I get blinded. It works out much better if you can bounce the light off of the ceiling, but that isn't always an option.

I've had issues with the plastic one breaking on the original Rocket light.
aabee
Kind of stinks that you can't plug it in like with the new M18 rocket.

mohawkdec
i have both rockets great lights both have metal collars, those look plastic on the dewalt? the older rocket is battery only, the newer one is ac too, love that feature, plus it charges, will take a serious look at dewalt when it has same since i have alot of dewalt 18/20 volt tools. rcarnes911
Got mine today, got to say it is bigger then I thought it would be still bad ass though Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
aabee
To those who have asked, yes the collars are plastic and its weight isn't distributed very well when picked up by the handle. Even with the lower lumens I prefer the older Milwaukee stand lights to this (the ones with the metal collars, anyway). They're easier to tote around and the build quality seems better IMHO. Pretty sure I could buy two dewalts for the price of one hybrid/charger Rocket though. At least in Canada, they’re a massive ripoff. The nice thing about the Dewalt is it has put the fear of God unto Milwaukee and the OG Rocket is now cheap as chips comparatively. Big price drop in crappy Canadian dollars.
rcarnes911
I really like the dewalt one, couple things they should fix though, the black handle should have a grip on all 3 sides, and the light itself should be able to rotate 360 not just tilt up and downSent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
