Random Orbital sander or Palm Sander

Recommended Posts

I prefer a 1/4 sheet palm sander myself as most of my needs are finish sanding. If you're doing any rough sanding though, you'll make a lot quicker work of it with a random orbital. I build a lot of primitive furniture and the orbital wont get into corners or tight areas.

Random orbital and a belt sander is what I use for most of my work. If I have tight spaces I like using my rockwell multi tool with the sander adapter.

The sanding kits for multi-tools are super handy and surprisingly effective.

Depends. My M12 Milwaukee is sufficient in 9 of 10 cases. If you have a few batteries or your batteries are the new 4.0 packs, it would probably be sufficient in 95% of cases. Depends on what you're using it for I suppose.

Well I might have to try it. I did go with the Milwaukee mini recip so I might have to expand on the 12v.

The M12 Jig saw is probably my favorite tool in the line. It's not good for 2X's, but for cutouts and stiff it rocks.
