Its time to buy buy a new cordless drill and I'd like to try out the metabo quick line. However if they don't have anti bindup I'll be going with the dewalt 997 as it has it. Im man enough to keep most drills from kicking, but as an electrician by trade, I can see how that anti bind would help when drilling holes in existing walls with a long shaft bit. To save the geartrain and the batteries. He was telling me that lithium batteries become volatile when a sudden high amp draw happens.
