Yaworski
I have a bunch of Craftsman NexTec tools and also have a bunch of batteries for those tools. Sadly, my batteries have started dying. I plug them into the charger and it flashes for "bad battery." I've seen some information for different brands about buying a battery that is branded differently but from the same manufacturer and pulling the battery out of the new pack and put it into the old. To clarify: Acme Tools makes power tools for both Big Buy Superstore and SuperDuper Superstore. The tools are the same except for cosmetic differences that keep the batteries from interchanging. So you buy a battery at SuperDuper, dismantle it and use the parts to rebuild your battery from Big Buy. So the question is who made NexTec and which brands of batteries can be used to rebuild my NexTec batteries? Thanks.
Cowboy Dan
320 Chervon (Asian) I got that from vintage machinery.org. They have a lot of useful information about old and new tools. Worth a look someday.
