Don Monfils Posted September 1, 2019 Report Posted September 1, 2019 Has anyone here picked up or tried out the new 18 gauge brad nailer? I’m hoping to pick up the bare tool this week.
Don Monfils Posted September 19, 2019 Author Report Posted September 19, 2019 I love the tool. No more fuel cells, no more cleaning/ maintenance. The lock out feature is awesome ( no more dry fires) The led light is nice. Super clean nail holes, no proud nails, no jamming ... so far 1
reddawg60 Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 Thanks Don for your feedback on this tool. I was about to ask if you picked it up or not and if so how you liked it, so it was nice to hear what your thoughts were on it. [emoji106]Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T377A using Tapatalk
William050 Posted February 26, 2020 Report Posted February 26, 2020 Now the tool has been out for a wile and been in use for a good few months what are people’s opinions? Any complaints about it or anything that you don’t like? I’m probably gonna purchase soon but I bought the gen 1 tool and I really just didnt like anything about it, so I’m a little hesitant to pull the trigger if there are any major complaints with the new version.
Don Monfils Posted February 26, 2020 Author Report Posted February 26, 2020 I still love mine. I even made a custom foam liner for my packout case.
reddawg60 Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 No complaints here, I can't really compare it to the gen 1 as I didn't have that one. But have had mine for a couple of months and have used it to trim out a few houses so far. No jams or misfires whatsoever.Based on my experience so far an easy purchase should I need another one!! reddawg60 Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 Hey Don, where did you purchase the foam for the packouts? I've seen some here and there haven't really looked into to much but that's probably what I should do with mine also. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T377A using Tapatalk
