DougS
After not using the miter saw for some while, I tested it with a partially discharged battery (18v +one). Worked fine. I charged the battery (maybe a coincident action only) and the saw now does not work. Instead of spinning, the blade makes a short ratchet move and stops with each pull of the trigger. I don't recall whether the saw is a +one or not. It is 18v. I've read the lithium One batteries should work on older model Ryobi (it works with my older hand drill). It worked fine before I charged the battery (again, maybe coincidence). Appreciate any suggestions about what may be causing the saw to start/stop in short ratchet when I pull trigger? Thanks! DFC
Hi Doug, Did you ever solve this problem? My Ryobi saw does the same thing and I've never been able to fix it. Dean
