Don Monfils
I was wondering if you guys might be able to give me some ideas on this little project.I was trying to figure out a way I could make a slide out shelf , for my cordless chopsaw.I normally setup my saw on its stand.I was thinking sometimes I just have one or two pieces of quarter round or transitions to cut , or if it is raining out I would be able to cut the material right inside my trailer .I would like the shelf to be able to lock so it does not slide out while I was driving . The shelf is 24” wide and I think if it slid out 18-20” I’d would begood. The saw weighs 45 lbs.

rrich1
Hmmm. slide out shelf would be easy, my only concern is the downward pressure when cutting and breaking the shelf hardware.
