Masjaf
Hello, I have a Bosch GSB 18 drill that I got used. No warranty. I was working outside and stupidly left the drill in the mist outside. Next day I tried operating it again and the drill was not working. It did not even make a sound. I have since took apart the plastic enclosure of the drill and dried it. After that I tried it with a different fully charged battery that worked on a different tool just the other day. Result was the same. The drill does not even make a sound. I am looking for any suggestions on what might be the fault and what I can do to get my drill back in working order. I can provide more details and pictures if needed. Thanks
wingless
Welcome to the forum. Don't leave your tools out in the rain... The cordless Bosch GSB drill looks to be a nice tool. My guess is one of the circuit boards now has a failed component, as-shown in this parts listing. If ordering replacement parts, then ensure the model and version numbers are correct. Use a meter to verify power in when the trigger is squeezed and no power out.
Mordekyle
I’ll do the same thing occasionally. For me, I’ll take the tool inside and set it by the fireplace for a couple of days. It’s worked for a nine amp hour flex volt battery(phew!) And a flashlight.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
