newusername84
The positive stops on my brand new Makita XSH06 for 45 degree and for 56 degrees are fine. However, the positive stop for 22.5 degrees stops shy at about 20 degrees. 2.5 degrees inaccurate. I've looked long and hard at it and I can't see anything blatantly wrong with the positive stopping device. Does anyone else see this flaw in their 7 1/4" Makita circular saw? Eric - TIA
I have the exact same size and have been using it on my addition. I think something might be up with your saw. Mine stops at 22.5 just fine. However I wasn't the first one to use the saw out of the box so not sure if someone adjusted something or it was fine from the box. Yes I think you're right and that the bevel stops on this new saw are not working properly. I'm reaching out to Makita warranty department now. newusername84
So far no response from Makita. I have submitted through the warranty contact section on their website as directed. Done so twice now. Anyone had any experience with Makita warranty service?
Eric - TIA
Interesting that no response. Let me forward it to my contact at Makita and see if they can do something.
