Old Ish Posted August 8, 2020 Report Posted August 8, 2020 I have a dock that is underwater. 4' max. I want to take it apart but there are a lot of screws holding the boards on. I have a Craftsman 12" drill/driver. I would have to stand in the lake to do this. Could I rig up some kind of extension so the driver and most of the extension are out of the water and not ride the lightening? I've never even thought about this until this summer.
Eric - TIA Posted August 10, 2020 Report Posted August 10, 2020 I haven't seen anything like that before. The only extension is for decking and have seen some stuff for ceiling and fasteners.
Mordekyle Posted August 11, 2020 Report Posted August 11, 2020 It wasn’t assembled in the water. Can you disconnect it and drag it into shore?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Eric - TIA Posted August 11, 2020 Report Posted August 11, 2020 Good question. The only docks I have installed over the years, which is about 10, we just had hand tools and installed while standing in the water. Wish i knew but I don't have any experience with docks.
