Jody Posted September 4, 2020 Report Share Posted September 4, 2020 I have a husky F2S20VWD, 947265 model air compressor with an issue. It started out feeling to 45 to 55 PSI and then shutting off it would not feel to the maximum 150 psi. I change the pressure switch and it continued to do the same thing. I then changed the check valve and it continue to do the same thing. I remove the head to check the valve plate and other parts inside and didn't find anything wrong. I replace the head and valve plate and upon replacing them when I started the compressor it now runs for about 3 to 5 seconds and then shuts off. when it shuts off it will not start right back up. I've also replaced the start capacitor and the run capacitor. I ordered a new valve plate assembly kit which includes gaskets and other items that come along with it and installed it is still runs for about 3 to 5 seconds and cuts off.
