Ruhtra86
Hi All, Hope you all are well. I am new member here to appreciate the community wisdom. I am trying to install a Prazi 18" beam cutter on my 77w. For that I need to remove the lower guard and the guard spring (33 in attached image). On instruction videos and pictures I found online, the circular saws they used for demo all have their guard spring's hook end exposed on the outside of the casing, and you can simply take a needle nose plier to pull it up and unhook it. However on mine it is not exposed, so I couldn't access it and get it off. Worst case I can just cut it as it should only be a $4 replacement... But trying to do it the right way. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Eric - TIA
Great question and not sure. The only thing i can think of if there is a plate that comes off on the side and allows access.
