wayneburgess Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Metabo are my tool of choice, but even so the German manufacturer have now blown everyone out with the new versions of its drills with Brushless motors that UP the torque level where everyone else's is less powerful than the 4 pole versions and also the addition of the new 5.2 ah batteries.Hat off to Metabo they do make a habit of leading the way.
Conductor562 Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 We wouldn't know. They don't like to sell most of their tools to us
firefighter4187 Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 We wouldn't know. They don't like to sell most of their tools to us Lol You got that right!

DR99 Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 The cool thing about cordless power tools is besides the chargers you don't have to worry about the different plugs and voltages. You could have a grey market tool shipped over like the dewalt cordless framing nailer if you wanted it.
firefighter4187 Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 I could not imagine what shipping would be haha!
07Sierra Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 They have a metabo grinder here at my local Napa
Conductor562 Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 FYI: Ridgid grinders are made by Metabo under contract.
wayneburgess Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 Great tools just crap marketing seems to be the problem with Metabo.
