DewaltFan20
Hi All, I’m going to restore (not that old) a D55186. Two questions. One, I’m finding replacement parts ereplacementparts.come but I know the parts (ball release valve and pressure gauge) are standardized and can be found for cheaper. Thoughts? Second, going to clean out the inside of the tank, any industry standard approaches? Thanks in advance.
Eric - TIA
Great questions. For me, if their isn't much of a price difference between the OEM parts and a generic part, I always go with the OEM, especially if the part originally lasted a long time. No really sure the best way to clean the inside of the tank in regards to what cleaner etc.
wingless
This reply has a decent air compressor tank cleaning / finishing process.
