7/8 cordless rotary hammer drill

I just purchased this 7/8 cordless hammer drill. After one day of use i noticed the battery connection housing is very loose i didn’t notice this before now and i don’t know if it is defective or if these are supposed to have this play as a cushion. I don't see any way it could be tightened down. Greatly appreciate any input!

I was able to research a little. Nothing conclusive in the user manual that I could find. But the parts breakdown shows two sizable “cushion rubber” parts at the connection housing. Guessing this tool is on that list of tools with a flexible battery connection. Thank you again aessu!

About the tool. It worked very well, day one was (40) 1/4 x 3” holes. No problem. It does seem to chew through batteries pretty quick. Used a little over 2 full charges on brand new fully charged 5 aH batteries.

Yeah, thats normal, its an older brushed model.
