zguy
Hello everyone. Looking for suggestions and opinions. I have a bunch of Makita 18V tools and recently got a few Milwaukee 12V ones. A few years ago I was in the market for a mid torque impact wrench and I bought a Makita 18V 1/2 impact wrench, model XWT11Z. The stubby M12 fuel impact wrenches were out at the time I believe but I choose the Makita instead since I was on that battery system. I got a M12 inflator, charger and two 2.0 batteries as a gift over Christmas. Over the past few weeks I was able to get a M12 Fuel 3/8 stubby impact wrench and a M12 Fuel 3/8 ratchet. Both were on sale. I really think the ratchet is a keeper since it is low profile compared to the impacts. I'm not sure what to do about the M12 3/8 stubby though. Should I keep the M12 3/8 stubby in addition to the Makita? I know the M12 is smaller and has a bit more power than the Makita. E.g., 250 ft/lbs vs 210 ft/lbs. Thoughts? Should I keep all three or return the M12 stubby and just deal with the Makita since I already have it.
