New Milwaukee 2767-20 1/2 impact performance issue

Hi, i bought myself a Milwaukee 1/2" impact last week, i tested it out on my lug nuts and my mistake definitely over-torqued one of them a bit too much ( wasn't paying attention and did not realize the 4th setting isn't the same as the mid torques 35 ft.lb shut off setting) . Im guessing maybe 200ft.lb or so. this week i went to take the wheel off and could not get the lug nut off. After holding the impact on the 3rd setting for 15s it still wouldn't budge. I got the lug off using a breaker bar with roughly 28-340 ft-lb of force. The lug bolt had some salt that must have gotten in when taking it off last week and slight rust build up. However i don't think this should be an issue for an impact rated for 1400 ft.lb nut busting torque.

Is there any possibility that the impact is underpowered or defective? based on reviews, tests and ratings this shouldn't have been an issue for the impact.

Thank you
