zoelouise1990 Posted April 13, 2021 Report Share Posted April 13, 2021 Hi I’m looking for people who have purchased the new Milwaukee Gen 2 1/2 impact gun Ive sent mine away twice to get fixed as I have movement (in and out) and slight movement side to side in the anvil, but everytime they’ve sent it back apparently it’s meant to be like this ? Biggie Posted April 17, 2021 Report Share Posted April 17, 2021 I'm not real sure which 1/2" impact you have, and I could check one of mine but I would say it's pretty common for the anvil to have some movement. billdo4realdo Posted May 6, 2022 Report Share Posted May 6, 2022 The gen 2.5? They fixed the intermittent trigger cutting out issue. Mine is phenomenal. It has a little bit of play at the chuck but I don't notice it hardly ever unless I have a bent bit or a long bit. Over 6" I mean. But at that point it's the bent bit or the fact I'm running a bit over half a foot long that is the problem. Not the chuck or gun itself.
