DR99
http://www.coptool.com/ingersoll-rand-12v-iqv-cordless-tools-to-launch-at-sema-2013/I don't need anything that serious for what I do, but there are some people that like Ingersoll Rand products here so they might be interested in a new lineup. Conductor562
Nice find. Those cordless rats look.....awkward.When is SEMA I wonder?
DR99
I think slide packs make things like ratchets awkward regarding the grip of the tool.
Conductor562
I think slide packs make things like ratchets awkward regarding the grip of the tool.I agree completely. Mac released their cordless rats with a rebadged Dewalt 12V Max pack a couple months back. It looks like some kind of mutant too.
DR99
I know some people like the slide packs because for drills and impacts you can do anything you want with the grip, but for other tools its awkward as hell.
Jeth
Not more then 18 or 20v tools
Conductor562
Milwaukee took the ideal approach to the 12V platform IMO. It's extremely nice to have the option of using a full pack or a slim pack based on the tool. Dewalt kind of limited themselves by using the slide pack only platform. DR99
Bosch did pretty much the same thing except they hardly have any 12v tools, so you don't notice the ability to match packs to the task.
