astroboy
Hey guys, I have an early 2000's 12" dewalt sliding compound mitre saw. It's the one that has the rails stacked vertically, not side by side. Anyway, I've never been satisfied with its cut. The blade seems to drift a bit and you really notice it on angles. Although I realize that the configuration of the rails is a bit of the problem, do you guys think that the 12" blade has more flex in it? Would a 10" be a better option? Eric - TIA
A 12" might have some flex, but I don't think enough to notice. I use mine all the time and never have any problems with a 12". The only thing that sucks for me is hauling it around from place to place. 90% of the time I could be getting away with an 8" or 10". If you get yourself a good 12" blade, it shouldn't flex. Conductor562
Is there a chance the blade could be bent?
