I won a bid on a lot of hand planes at an auction and I want to keep some for my own use, so I will be restoring those. The duplicates in the lot are the ones I want to sell. Assuming I have all the time in the world (which I don't), Should I restore them or just sell them as is on ebay/facebook marketplace, etc? Generally pros go for old stock/used planes and they would like to restore them how they want, as mostly they would be US-UK made, new ones are mostly made in China. I would sell them as they are.
