anotherbeer4me
My Makita LS1016L compound slide mitre saw is stuck in the bevel position to the left. It's a relatively new saw and it's the first time it's been in this position. As far as I can tell I'm doing everything I should be to release it but it just wont budge. any help appreciated. Joe M
http://lumberjocks.com/topics/40740 My store doesn't sell this model, so I can't really add much other than this link in which multiple people try to help a guy with the exact same problem. DR99
Is it possibly still under warranty? I would try that first looks like a part is failing or wasn't installed properly from the link Joe M put up. Try lubricating any latches and such is the only other thing I can think of. Conductor562
Now electric Makita tools are going to shit too? Man, I've got an old LS1225 that I've beat to shit. It's and awesome saw and dead on accurate. Not familiar with this saw though
keslogan
I have used that same Makita saw. The bevel angle is always abnormally hard to adjust. My advice is just to look at the exploded view for the lock mechanism in the manual or on the website.
